When markets are in conflict they present opportunities.  The list below identifies markets with above average trading opportunities with markets falling into three categories;

  • Opposing Force … markets with well established trends fighting against technical alerts looking for reversals
  • Quiet Phase  … markets that have been in tight consolidation phases with strong seasonal tendencies
  • Pent-up Energy … markets that are close to major support or resistance levels combined with overbought and over sold alerts

Markets that fall into these categories need to be closely monitored as it’s only a matter of time before trading opportunities present themselves.  When opportunity knocks … be prepared and watch the systems for triggers.
